Expatriate Bangladeshis, along with immigrants from different countries, perform Eid prayers in mosques and open fields in every city, including Italy's capital Rome, Venice, Milan, Genoa, Monfalcone, Naples, Treviso, Bologna. The prayer congregation started at 6 am local time and continued till 9:30 am. 5 congregations are held in the Central Jama Masjid of Baitul Mamur, Venice. TV footage showed a car apparently taking Ennosuke Ichikawa from a hospital to a police station as public broadcaster NHK and other outlets reported his arrest, citing police sources.
