The Convening Committee of Dighinala Journalist Forum has been formed. The organization made its debut by forming a convening committee with the local residents of Dighinala upazila working in various print media in the district-upazila under the chairmanship of journalist Abdul Jalil on Wednesday afternoon at the organization’s temporary office in Madhya Boalkhali Bazar of Dighinala. Senior journalist Abdul Jalil (Dainik Bangla) convener, An 8-member convening committee was formed with Md. Sohag Mia (Daily Bissho Manchitra) and Mizanur Rahman Sabuj (Daily Thritiya matra) as joint convenors and M. Idris Ali (Daily Somoyer Kagoj) as member secretary. Other members of the committee are Md. Manik Hossain (Bangladesh Shomoy), Saiful Islam (Doinik Astha) Afzal Hossain (Dainik Bangladesh Samachar) and Hasan Al Mamun (Dainik Ekushey News). It was decided in the meeting that the convening committee will form the full committee through a general meeting within the next three months.
