Donald Trump returned to Facebook and YouTube after being banned for two years.

News Desk :

On Friday, Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, made a return to Facebook and YouTube after being banned for two years. He posted a short 12-second video to his followers with the caption, ‘I’m back’ prominently displayed. In January 2021, following the riots on Capitol Hill, the social media ban against then-President Trump was put in place for two years. Trump, who is a Republican leader and has 34 million followers on Facebook and 26 lakh subscribers on YouTube, had his account restrictions removed by YouTube. Facebook had banned him for his behavior, which it deemed a severe violation of the company’s policies. After the ban, Trump accused Facebook of insulting the billions of people who had voted for him in the presidential election. It is worth noting that, in addition to Facebook, Trump was also banned from other social media platforms, including Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat. Since then, Trump has become active on his platform, Truth Social.
