Online Desk :
Samsung is working on a new camera system for facial recognition. Two under display cameras will be used in this process.
Recently, this information came out in a report of GSM Arena. It is said that this information is known from the patent application filed with the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service in March 2021. Last week the patent application became public and a Dutch publishing company took it up. Its basic concept is very simple. By using two cameras, an advanced 3D model of the user’s face from different angles will be created and used in the authentication or identification process. The South Korean tech giant has announced the use of an under-display camera in the process. So far, the company has tested the technology on its Galaxy Fold lineup, according to the published report.
