Enrique will continue as PSG coach

Online Desk :

Luis Enrique will continue as PSG manager next season after they were knocked out of the Champions League by Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals. The club has confirmed the news. PSG have a history of sacking a coach before the Champions League. But sources have told sports website ESPN that the club is happy with Enrique’s work and wants to trust him in the future. The 54-year-old Spanish coach arrived at PSG last summer on a two-year deal. The source confirmed that the club will soon begin negotiations with him on a contract renewal. Enrique was also popular with Paris fans this season. Even some crazy fans cheered and shouted in his support for every match. However, it will be difficult for PSG to advance in the Champions League next time. Kylian Mbappe has decided to leave the club at the end of the season. It remains to be seen how far Enrique can take the Mbappe-less PSG. Enrique, however, has never put any restrictions on star players leaving PSG. Neymar and Marco Verratti left the Parc des Princes last summer. There was no objection to that. Instead, he has always tried to uphold the spirit and tradition of the party. Despite being eliminated from the Champions League, PSG still has a chance to win the French Cup. PSG will face Lyon in the final of the French Cup on May 25. Also, the French Super Cup title has already been confirmed under Enrique.
